Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Atlantic Seaboard, Llundudno Scenic Flight

Takeoff from the V&A Waterfront
Your adventure begins at the V&A Waterfront helipad. As you lift off, you get a bird’s-eye view of the historic harbor, the modern Cape Town Stadium, and the green expanses of the Green Point Urban Park. The aircraft then banks toward the coast, offering a stunning panoramic look at the City Bowl nestled at the foot of Table Mountain.
The Glamorous Atlantic Seaboard
Heading south, you glide over the "Riviera" of Cape Town. You’ll see:
The Twelve Apostles & Llandudno
As you leave the city behind, the flight follows the sheer cliffs of the Twelve Apostles. From the air, these 18 distinct peaks provide a dramatic vertical contrast to the deep blue Atlantic below.
Hout Bay & The Sentinel
The flight typically continues just a bit further to circle the "Republic of Hout Bay." You’ll see the bronze-colored peaks of The Sentinel guarding the entrance to the bay and look down on the bustling fishing harbor. This is also a prime spot to look for Seal Island (Duiker Island) and the resident colony of thousands of Cape Fur Seals.
The Return Leg
The pilot executes a graceful turn, giving you a fresh perspective on the return journey. You’ll see the "back" of Table Mountain and Lion's Head as you approach the city. The final descent offers a spectacular view of the Waterfront’s activity, concluding your tour where it began.
